Kiki provides a language, editor, runtime, and related applications and services for writing, evaluating, and sharing documents and code (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use it.
The Service may be offered through web apps, desktop apps, or other clients. Some features can operate locally on your device. Other features require server processing, account access, sync, sharing, or optional AI assistance. We may update the clients, storage methods, identity providers, and infrastructure used to provide the Service.
An account is optional unless a feature requires it. Sign-in may use supported identity providers such as Google, Apple, Microsoft, or another provider we offer. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. You may sign out or request account deletion at any time in settings.
You own the documents, code, formulas, and other materials you create in Kiki. We claim no ownership rights to your content. When you use a feature that sends content to the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, transmit, display, and process that content solely to provide the feature you requested. This includes syncing content across devices, sharing it with people or links you choose, and returning AI-assisted output.
Kiki may offer optional AI or API-powered tools to help draft, revise, summarize, or format documents, formulas, code, and related materials. These tools run only when you choose to use them. To provide the result, we may send your prompt and selected context to Kiki servers and third-party API providers. You are responsible for reviewing all output before relying on it; AI-assisted output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your use case.
You agree not to:
Parts of Kiki are open source and governed by their own licenses; those licenses control over these Terms for the covered code. The Service may rely on third-party providers for identity, hosting, storage, analytics, AI assistance, and other operations. Your use of third-party services may also be subject to their terms.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that results produced by code, formulas, or AI assistance will be correct. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kiki and its contributors are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. You are responsible for keeping your own backups of anything you care about.
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we need to for legal, security, or operational reasons. Content stored only on your device remains under your control.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
